Valley Forge is perhaps the best-known place name associated with the American Revolution.  Explore the place where General George Washington and the Continental Army spent the winter of 1777-1778.  Valley Forge National Historical Park commemorates more than the collective sacrifices and dedication of the Revolutionary War generation, it also pays homage to the ability of everyday Americans to pull together and overcome adversity during extraordinary times.
